Enrollment period - April 1 until filled
This camp is for the younger set and is a great way to explore our local birds and sculpt with clay.
For the Birds!
Over four engaging days, young artists will:
Spark Creativity by sketching ideas, crafting small maquettes, and building large clay sculptures.
Explore Nature by learning about the park's vibrant flora and fauna.
Discover Local Birds—the theme for 2025! Campers will explore the fascinating world of local bird species, understand their crucial role in the environment, and discuss ways to help them thrive.
The highlight? Campers will create ceramic bird sculptures to be proudly displayed in the park, alongside the real birds flitting through the trees.
It’s a perfect blend of art, education, and outdoor fun that nurtures creativity and fosters a love for nature.
Spaces are limited—register early to secure your child’s spot!
Students register for all four days of the workshop. On the fourth day, families of students and others interested are invited to participate in creative activities focused on midwest birds and take home an original piece of art.
