The Art Rapids Summer Art Camp offers kids an in depth experience with sculpture. Kids enjoy looking at and learning from the sculptures in the park, but mainly work for four days drawing ideas, making small maquettes, and building a large piece with clay.

Each year the kids learn about some aspect of the flora and fauna in the park. Through sculpture and individual creativity, the kids reflect on what they've learned.

This current installation of the kids' work represents macroinvertebrates in the bay, mostly unseen, but the very important base of the ecosystem for creatures of the waters.
