My intent was to create a dynamic structure that conveyed a sense of the stored energy in the timbers – (the power within that all trees absorb while growing). Incorporated into the structure is that mystical number that repeats throughout – three. The main elements, three connectors, three keepers, three wedges, the trianglular base and the rough pyramid shape defined by the timbers. Birth-Life-Death, Mind-Body-Spirit, The Trinity, The third try, The three acts of a play…whatever set of three that suits the viewer.
