I have been a maker of things and a sculptor for over 25 years. While much of my work is metal sculpture, I have worked in many other mediums including multimedia sculpture, painting, photography, and theater set design and construction. My work ranges from smaller indoor gallery pieces to large outdoor public works, often creating commissioned pieces. I currently have several public works on display, or in the process of creation, throughout Michigan, and am happy now to have some work in Elk Rapids.
My work is often a focus on the bridge between converging boundaries. Nature and artifact, enduring and ephemeral, rigid and mutable depicting the precarious nature of seemingly indefinite potential energies after continuous exposure to the kinetic.
The Walkers series, A surreal cityscape. The skeletal remains of a once thriving metropolis projecting a time of progress, activity, and abundance only to fall into stagnation and continued decay.
