2024 Call to Artists

Northern Michigan’s Walk of Art sculpture gallery on beautiful Grand Traverse Bay in Elk Rapids, MI, seeks as many as six dynamic new pieces to be shown up to three years, starting with its 2024 season.

Walk of Art is a collaboration between the Art Rapids arts organization and Antrim County, which owns and maintains the 15-acre Elk Rapids Day Park where the gallery is located. The unique, public, outdoor gallery was established in 2013 as a space where sculptors can exhibit their work for sale. It attracts more than 10,000 visitors a year and continues to gain attention and praise. It currently has 37 works exhibited on a rotating three-year basis. New work sought for 2024 will replace works in the gallery for three years and may remain until May 2027.

Art Rapids will pay accepted Artists a stipend of $600 at placement in the park. Artists have the option of offering their artwork for sale.
